Elizabeth Wager is a (LPCC-S) licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisory designation and is certified as a registered play therapist supervisor. She graduated for RHEMA Bible Training Center in 1999, & obtained her Master's in Counseling in 2007. Elizabeth has been in the counseling field over 12 years. Elizabeth has a variety of experience with in-home, outpatient, crisis, school based & private practice counseling. Elizabeth also co-facilitated a men’s batterers intervention group.
Elizabeth has presented continuing education trainings at the Midwest Play Therapy Institute (MPTI) on a variety of topics. Some areas of expertise are marriage/family, domestic violence, spirituality, children, adolescents, parenting, depression, anxiety, attachment, grief/loss, trauma & PTSD.
Elizabeth uses a holistic, client centered approach, utilizing solution focused, CBT and play therapy interventions with clients of all ages. Elizabeth’s genuine care & compassion, fueled by her sense of humor & playfulness, her optimism & strength based appropriate assists in meeting each individual client where they are and help them strive to reach their goals.
On a personal note: Elizabeth has a blended family with 2 teenagers & 1 younger son in elementary school. Elizabeth loves traveling to the beach, swimming, spending time with family, & baking amazing desserts.
